1.8t 2.8 or 3.0?
if u wanna keep ur v8 power, a 1.8t with bt like audibama said. if u can find a 1.8t for like 5g u will still have 10g for upgrades. let's just say that 10g will be enough to just match ur old mustangs power. however u will love the ride on the audi alot better than the mustang. it's smooth and can do curves just like a runway model ha
o and our audi's crash rating is ALOT higher than the mustang

i would say get a b5 1.8t, work on suspension wheels exhaust and chip(apr), for reliability, see if you like it there first.... if not you can just get a upgrade on software and get apr's bt for 5 g's and still have money left over, going bt is not as reliable
or you could flip to an a6 2.7t same motor as an s and you can get a newer car with lower miles for about 17-20..... i know more than you wanna spend, but then you so suspension wheels exhaust and chip and you are in your v8 power with euro style and luxuary....... you all have to admit that there is no american "muscle" with audi style
my next car is a 2.7t and i will probably never go bt cause of loss of reliability, or at least not while it is my dd

drop 10 grand into a 1.8t and you'll take almost any v8.

the 1.8t is definitely for you, you can't really mod the 2.8 or 3.0's to make them that fast...
alright so your sll sayin i should go with a 1.8 turbo, if and when i do mods to it besides a few cosmetic things i would probably put anexhaust system on it but other than that im not really lookin for somthing to go dumping a sh?? load of money into to make fast even though i would really love to. i just bought a house so thats half the reason why i cant afford to do much besides pay for the car, the other problem is that i either way silver with black leather or black on black manual, and i cant find any within 100 miles of me on autotrader for 16500 or less... i live in upstate new york, any other sites or suggestions? thanks guys you are awesome!!!!!
Yea i just did the same thing i just sold my V8 Shelby for a 2005 Audi 1.8T its good it has more kick to it when i was in the shelby i could feel 80 in this one i go 80 it feels like 30 but thats up to you
any ideas where i can finda black on black a4 1.8t manual for under 16500? im lookin but dont have any luck[:@]plus if i do get one of these and mind you im not familiar with turbos or anything, but ive read up on these forums here n there and heard stuff about turbos going bad and engine sludge, how do you get engine sludge and what to do to prevent it?
