Hey everyone. I'm in the market for a B5 A4 and was wondering which engine I should go for and why. Thanks.

 

if you want to mod your car get the 1.8t, it is so much easier. the 2.8 is more reliable but more difficult to mod. if you want a ton of info on this subject search the topic and you will get a lot of info. imo get the 1.8t its fun.

 

Hey thanks for the opinion. Yeah I tried using the search but I can't seem to get anywhere with it. I figured this was a topic that was covered about a zillion times .

 

if you gonna mod, gotta have the 1.8T. If not, the 2.8.
