why no one is getting heated in this convo??? Being the starter of this, im telling you, you CANNOT use this out of context or else it will get old very quickly and soon to be just annoying

lol omg i cant believe u asked that one too, but i've seen enough swans today to be cool bout it. You cant use a blow off valve in these cars. They have a closed loop turbo system. If you have a BOV you let out the air into the atmosphere which causes you to run rich due to the dependence on the MAF and ECU to interpret air flow dynamics within the intake tract. So we use a DV, diverter valve, which puts the air back into the system rather than releasing it. You will still get the sound but not near as loud.


man i think these swans are really having a calming affect on the forum lol nobody flamed him for the post. a month ago he woulda been torn a new one

Guys, relax, if you it is so hard to asnwer- don't )) Ok, i don't know a difference between a blow valve and a diverter valve, so what? This is a forum, where people talk, give and advise to each other ))
