They will fit, but they are not matched up for your car. the 2.8 has a lot more weight on the front end because the engine is heavier.
So, the springs/shocks may not be stiff enough for that car.

b6 springs on a b5. I don't think they'll fit. But even if they do like ace said the spring rates are different so you might wanna get springs that are specified for your car.
