When it comes down to it, the Rings are what matter. But there are only four of them for a reason!

(Yes, I actually do know the real reason for the four ring logo!)

Lol, that's two people I've made laugh today. Well, who've admitted it, at least!

and the 1.8 does not necessarily handle better than the 2.8, sport suspension on either of them is gonna be the same.. the 2.8 might be a little heavier but thats the only way i can think of the 1.8 handling better
The 1.8 and it's transmission are a bit lighter, but it mostly lightens the front end of the car which helps curb the understeer our cars are plauged by. That's about it, though

HOORAY MASSIVE BODY ROLL! Stock suspension + sh*tty goodyear tires FTL! That rotary made me wish I had bought the Mini Cooper S (f*cking cheats!) or an old GTI because they do those on three wheels! Everyone save the RWD guys were plowing on that, because you were trying to maintain a good speed to set up your exit. I still beat the poser driving the STi that day, though!

Lets be honest. 97% of the people who bought a 2.8 and then became a member of this site now wishes they had given the 1.8t a little more consideration.... Its pretty much a factual statistic. Most members here range in age between 16 and late 20's. Dont tell me most men in that age range dont have a need for speed. Most people in that age rangewant many options as far as power upgrades go.... Which can mean only one thing......

1.8T FTMFW!
Only women complain about reliability, because they have no idea how to turn a wrench, and they know itll cost them big time if something goes wrong... Men look forward to something breaking so they can get dirty and fix it for cheap with their man skills.
