Default 1.8t's

this is a little off topic. i currently own an 02 s4 but my brother is looking to buy an 04.5 jetta gli from a private seller. what should i have him look for or should he take it to a shop to be looked at. i need all the help i can get with buying a used car should i find out if it was ever raced. this is the link of the car ive done some research and its a pretty good price. are there any problems with the 1.8t's that i should ask about/expect to suffer after he buys it thanks. http://newjersey.craigslist.org/car/297616714.html you might have to copy and paste it.

With that kind of mileage I wouldn't be worried about anything.

Tell your bro to get an A4 instead of a girly Jetta (a respectable mod list, butit still looks like a chick car)

i was gonna give him my s4 in exchange for my dad to get me a newer s4 but the insurance difference is ridiclous im in new jersey (highest insuance premiums in the US) and would pay over $5000 a yr for my 02 s4. an a4 same year the quote i got was $3500 so i paid the other 1500 for a lot nicer of a car. his quote on this jetta was $2000 a year. the gli have a little under 30k miles
