Default 1.9 TDI putting out black smoke

I have noticed that when I start my 1.9 TDI A4 in the mornings or when stood a while it chucks out some black smoke.

The same smoke also appears when I accelerate while driving.

It's not a massive amount, but it's just about visible at night under people's head lights and someone following me today commented about it saying that I might need to have my car decoked?

I am not sure what's up or if it's a problem at all.

Anyone able to advise?

Thanks

lol. Seems like your burning alittle oil. A 5.9L Cummins was doing that at work for awhile. Might want to get it checked out.

you burning to much fuel in this case, this engines controll the amount of
fuel to increase speed, wat year is this car have you had your fuel system
serviced? Injectors and fuel pump have to be serviced on time
for them to last long.
Wat type of oil you using?the wrong grade can cause smoking aswell...

Tom can't you just fix that by getting slightly smaller injectrors so they inject less to the engine?

I could turn down my fuel pressure, but I don't have a wideband and I dont know what the a/f looks like across the board. If there is a lean spot...boom, and its a beta program so no warrantee against anything. Better safe then sorry

Cant you adjust the duty cycle of Injector on time, so it sprays less over
a longer period?

Could be bad seals leaking oil into your cylinder while it sits over night.
