#1 is for 1994 to 2001 #2 is from 2001 to 2004 (take note of the different tensioners)

Reagrdless, change it at 100k or so for peace of mind. Even though the 1.8 says 120k, thats why I was asking for year/engine. Manual says 105k for v6, 120k for 1.8.
but those who has done stuff to their car as of performance wise(chip, exhaust, biggerturbo etc.) shouldnt that decrease the life of the timing belt by putting more pressure on it since the car has more power then it was designed for?
