1998.5?
I have always referred to myA4 as a 1998. I was wondering why some people like to refer to the model year with .5 (ex. 1998.5 instead of 1998). Is there a significance to the .5 or are both referring to the exact same model? I know in 2005 they switched the A4 halfway in the year, therefore I understand why some people have a 2005.5.
the interior was changed up a bit, it went to a more modern look. and i believe its 1999.5. i also think thats the year they added sport packages and stuff and changed the lights to projectors. overall the B5.5 is a new interior. try the search feature i believe this has already been discussed and theres even a link to all the changes.
right, the B7 started with the 2005.5
the only other one i really know is the 99.5, where they changed the tail lights and something else.
ive heard of a 2001.5 but i don't know what the difference is.
the .5 isn't for every year, just those years where they've made changes (someone correct me if im wrong)
