Ok Ive got a few questions. Fisrt off this A4 has 111000 miles on it. It has a new throttle body and i was wondering if there was maybe a reason for that? Also it is in fair condition so ball park what would you guys offer for it? Im thinking 6k. Also how would you guys spend $2,000 on it? Chip,exhaust,rims,suspension? just askin for opinion. Don't know why the throttle body would have been replaced, especially as rest of car is in good condition?

Have you asked the seller outright?

I just picked up a 1999 2.4 V6 SE for £5k with 109k miles on the clock and it looks and sounds good for another 100.

Sounds like you have a potential bargain.

 

I haven't heard of anything with the throttle bodies either. You say its fair condition, so that leads me to believe it needs some work... I just picked up a near mint looking 97 2.8 A4 with 96k for $6k. However after the purchase I found out I need trans work and a hub bearing. Hope that helps...
