Has anyone had any problems with their MIL (malfunction indicator light) coming on in their A4? Mine just popped on last night.

 

Well the MIL (or CEL) can come on for many many reasons. You need to get your car scanned for the fault code causing it. Either take it to a mechanic or to autozone as they will scan it for free.

If you can post the fault code number we may be able to help. But without any more info you are stuck.

Thanks...I plan on taking it to my mechanic in the next few days. I'll be back on the forum soon.
Do you have any suggestions on fixing the ABS unit? My light came on a while ago, I took it to a couple of places, including the dealer, and nobody could even get the module to talk to the computer. I am guessing from what I've read that I need to get a new control unit, but I am having a hard time getting any kind of diagnostic info.

It's a good thing I love my Audi!

 

Yeah the ABS unit on B5's wasn't exactly the best out there. I hope for your sake it isn't bad, as they are very expensive. I'd look into finding a reman unit or a used one.
