I know some people have already asked this before but my question is a little different. I have a 3.0 b6 and am looking at 19 inch wheels. For one, i know they would fit but would i have to lower my car so I don't expirance and rubbing and are the wheel sizes for the 3.0 different than the 1.8 t?

If you put on 19's and do not lower your car they will not rub. You will however want to lower your car or else it will look funny. As long as you don't lower it to much you will be fine.

 

And the 3.0 and the 1.8 will accept the same size of wheels... but yes, you'd never have an issue where lowering your car made rubbing go away... it will create rubbing, if you lower too much.

But yes, as said in the above post... it'll look wrong, if you dont lower it

look at Pops' car...he's got 19s on a B6, and they look amazing...

 

Fry i have 19's on my car and it matters on what suspension came with ur car to know how much u should drop it it with out it rubbing i would say about an inch and a half thats what im doin

 

I would go w/ sport springs (~1.5"). Race springs(1.9"~2.5") will prolly be to much w/ 19's. I am experiencing some probs right now w/ my race springs.
