Default 2.0 atmospheric spacer valve

My friend bought me one of those atmospheric spacer valves for my b7 a4 recently. When i went to the place to get it put in they told me they dont work great with the stock dv. They showed me how it fit on the stock dv and an aftermarket one and you could see how it fit the aftermarket dv perfectly oppsed to the stock dv. They said people come back with check engine lights usually. Has anybody used the spacer on a stock valve?

Do not get it.... I had it before... and it's too loud..... every shifting you will hear pshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Unless that is what you want from it....

So I took it out and bought the Forge DV instead... now I can barely hear it w/ my windows down and music off... And the boost is holding better too

Sounds kinda cool. Why would you not want the pshhhhhh thats one of MY favorite parts in having a turbo car. But if you dont like it then dont sport it. Sounds like another add on when you chip your car. DV and Spacer valve.
