2.0T or 3.2

2.0T or 3.2
After owning American cars all my life, considering a A4 this month.
Should I go for the 2.0T or 3.2? Is there advantage in the 3.2 in getting
up to speed from on-ramps, etc. more smoother car to drive. My first post here,
would like to hear from a couple A4 owners of both powerplants. Thank you.
Whats the easiest way to increase horsepower of 2.0T w/out affecting warranty.

RE: 2.0T or 3.2
It definitely IS a 3.2. No B7 comes with a 3.0.
My mom's A4 is a 2.0T and it is a great engine. And it was one of Ward's Ten Best Engines two years in a row. And it costs less, and gets great gas mileage. It gets up to speed very quickly, and is a very comfortable car for city driving, and quick on on-ramps.
On the other hand the 3.2 is also a great engine from what I hear. And it will likely come loaded with lots of nice options. I wonder though if it is worth the extra cost, since the 2.0T is already such a great engine.

Thanks for reply. Yes they are sold here in Canada as 3.2
I'm only interested in an auto trans. Yes you will get some nice
options thrown in with the 3.2
They are a dime a dozen here, only hesitation I have is that the 2.0Ts
sound so lame.

RE: 2.0T or 3.2
I just bought my 07 A4 2.0T with the 6 speed last weekend and it is an awesome car. Before this, I had an Acura RSX that in no ways compares to this machine. I test drove the 3.2 as well, and it was nice but in my opinion not worth the extra $$$$.

RE: 2.0T or 3.2
For what you want without looking to void the warranty get the 3.2... You'll have the power and comfort... Power wise it's all you need and then some (as you will see against other cars) ... Plus everyone has 2.0t's... Start a new canadian trend with the 3.2
