2.0T or 3.2
Ya B7's are 3.2.. 3.0 for B6, and 2.8 for B5.
Id get a 2.0T and chip it. Will be way more fun to drive. Would void thewaranty though... A chip wont make your car unreliable though, and some are made to be undetectable by the dealer. There isnt a 3.2 supercharger available that Im aware of.

I've had a 2.8l v6 30v as well as my current 1.8l turbo. If you intend to modify the car I'd suggest the 2.0l turbo, if not definitetly the 3.2l with a good exhaust. Idid this with my 2.8 & itimproved the car quite a bit, sounded a lot better, & throttle response was way better.

For what you want without looking to void the warranty get the 3.2... You'll have the power and comfort... Power wise it's all you need and then some (as you will see against other cars) ... Plus everyone has 2.0t's... Start a new canadian trend with the 3.2

I was like ironman said, a fan of NA cars, having owned several Camaros, Trans Ams, 3 Corvettes, before married life put me into sedans.
A simple chip change in a 2.0T will void the warranty. hmm. so the mechanics will notice when I take it in for servcing. That means leasing is out of the question cause they generally do not agree to any modifications, unless you have plans on purchasing the vehicle at the end of the lease term. Or you can keep the original chip and replace it back later.
I didn't mean the 2.0T was a lame car. I mean the stock exhaust sounds lame. Guess I'm used to V8 American muscle.
