Default 2.0t exhaust

I was planning on purchasing an exhaust for my 2.0t. What can I expect from a new exhaust. any hp gains. Will it make my car significantly louder. Because when I listen to the sound clips on youtube. between the stock exhaust and a militek or apr the stock sounds exactly the same as the militek or the apr. I am hoping that this is just because it's on the internet and I can't hear the difference but I could be wrong. I just want to know from people that actually have purchased and installed aftermarket exhausts what should I expect.

Exhaust will not give you alot of gain, less than 5whp. If you want hp gain, get APR software or testpipe instead.

Milltek/APRexhaustwill make your exhaust sound better... not louder

He is right, getting an exhaust will help by giving you a few more HP but will really help you in the future when you want to do further mods. If you want to get the most hp then chip, exhaust, DV and if you want to get crazy then Turbo, FMIC, and much more!

Each brand has its own special whether it makes more hp or sounds better with less restrictions. Just do your research before buying.

It helps to have a sub with your computer speakers when listening to exhausts.
