RE: 2.2T 20V engine swap
New Jersey. I think sometime this week I'll go talk to this Audi Mechanic that he's been working on Audis for more than 20 years so he knows new ones and old ones. I need a clutch soon so I need to get an estimate from him, so I'll ask him about the swap and what he thinks to. The price to that car was good but I wouldn't wanna get something with that much miles because of the tranny.

You would have to sell your house for this one. the 20vT is a 2223 cc motor. They are my Fav motor ever, but to swap it into anyhting other than a CQ or a GT WILL BREAK YOU . EASILY 20k with you doing most of the work. If you really want to , go for it. You'll have one of the fastest cars with a ****-ton of Torque off boost.
Those motors make SO MUCH POWAH!!

He's probably right. I highly doubt that the engine bolts up, that the tranny fits in the mounts, that it's compatible with the rear or center diffs, and that a 5000CS ECU would even speak to your instrument cluster or anything else. That Centennial shop in Littleton, CO or whatever it's called did it, but if you look at the engine bay of that car it's a mess. It was a huge pain in the *** for a dedicated race shop.
It would be hella cool if you did it, though.
