well i installed my new turbo.. gt28rs with a 3in cat delete and was wondering should i go with 3in or 2.5 ?? and not sure what brand ? or should i go custom

i think it helps the turbos spool up faster.

i dunno. i remember one of my friends saying it. but yeah don't take my word.

With that turbo, 3 inch exhaust is perfect.

Id say go with Milltek if they sell a 3". Had 2.75" great sound.

I always heard 2.5-2.75 was the best because 3in did not hold enough back pressure.

yeah with a bt go 3". it will be great and sound awesome. just get one custom made

2.5" will be fine, there is a guy on vortex making 500whp on a full 2.5" turboback with a gt3076r .82. If you can deal with the added sound, 3" will do the job also while netting some minor gains

it depends on where you want the turbo to spool. If you are going to run real high boost, & don't mind some lag, get 3in. If you want to keep the lower end volisity, go 2.5.
