2.8 Audi quattro performance parts?
You certainly can't make a 12v go fast without a mortgage.
Things you can do are - suspension, brakes, anything other than engine mods.
I've got a new mods on my 12v. The best for the price was the snub mount, and the ebay short shifter.

I believe there are SCs for the 12v check out SCaudi.com. If you have the budget you can make good power with 12v.
Hmm...that would be a sick project.
nope, none that i know of atleat... an interesting swap would be a 4.2 v8 with a supercharger
The 12v is harder to modify at first than the 30v but once you get past the fact that there ar no chips, the 12v is much easier to get power out of. Start by going to audiworld.com.. a lot of info is there. Start then with an intake with a built in velocity stack and a bored mass air flow housing, after this you can do some measuring and hose buying and open up all the piping from the MAF to the throttle body, the tricky part is the intake plenum with all of the vacuum lines. After that get a bored throttle body oir bore it yourself if you think you are up to the job. A guy with just throttle body,Hosing and MAF dynoed at like 140 to the wheels which is liek 208 crank he said, and had the sheets to prove it.. he also had old clogged cats and 90,000 mile old plugs.. he estimated about 15 hp more than that with the new plugs, cats, and a higher flow rear muffler. After that look into cams, some porting and polishing of the heads, intake manifold and exhaust manifold.. and maybe from there injectors and standalone fuel management... Good luck and PM me if you want more info cuz ive been reading up the audiworld archives for about a year now
