well i was bored today and so i decided to go screw around with my intake, so i took it all out and i started to look at what i could do for now to make it better. then i noticed something.. i dunno if this is for all 2.8s or not but theres this circle part in the bottom of the air bow under the filter, where it looks like you cut it out and it leads straight into the inner wheel well. so i decided to cut out the whole.. its has a diamiter of about 2.5 i wanna say so i cut out that whole and i traced a circle onto the wheel well, then i cut that out. so now theres a stright whole going from the well into the air box..

so first i niticed it actually made a pretty big difference. then i used to shift from 1 to 2nd at like 5k rpms the car used to suck for air. but now it does it very smoothly, i wasnt even expectinbg it to do that. then i noticed it makes the deeper intake sound. i like it alot..

and tonight i was sitting around with my friends and one of them had a injen airfilter 3inch and he gave it to me for 10 bucks and it was never used so i got a 50dollar filter for 10 bucks. i didnt think that was to bad

so now im gonna see if i can make some kind of intake like how mlo did... so well see how that goes in the next week.
