Default 2.8 Quattro, things to look for.
I'm selling the 1.8T Sport and i'm looking to get a 2.8 Quattro tip, anything on these to look for over the normal A4 things? Never owned a quattro before.

Nah quattro is basically bulletproof. Most of the problems of A4's aren't related to the engines, so nothing new for you to consider really.

Cheers mate, does the 2.8 have the proper 4WD like the S4's or does it run the crappy FWD sometimes 4WD system that the TT runs?

No they share the full time AWD. The B5 platform uses the Torsen quattro (purely mechanical), while the TT uses the Haldex quattro.

Same here, I need some Quattro in my life. Northern winters and FWD are testing my patience!
