Hey guys i think its time for some new brakes. That sqeuking noise is bothering my ears. Anyone ever heard of AXXIS brake pads? if so are they good and would u recommned them for my 2.8 Quattro? Any other brands you guys can advice me on using? I dont want something cheap i might as well do it the right way right away.

I have used axxis pads before....never on an audi but a much lighter car. I loved them, besided the massive amounts of dust off they gave me (witch will happen with any soft pad). All I know is I will never buy a non-ceramic pad again. If you really want a good pad go get yourself a pair of ceramics.

http://www.ecstuning.com sells the brakes and the rotors. changing the rotors is not mandatory unless they are worn down themselves.

I've just seen people have good luck with Hawks. I've only used Mintex Reds and Hawks. The Mintex sucked imo.
