so lastnight i was at a meet up at wendys and went with a rsx stock from a stop light ... took him by about 2 car lengths...but from a 20 mph roll he took me by two car lengths....

was it a regular RSX or a type S? Those things are pretty nimble.

 

whatever the 200hp one is 6 speed i think thats the type s right? cuz i sat in it and it was a 6 speed and he said 200 hp

 

Hmm. that is suprising. I would have thougth the RSX would have easily won. The 2.8 in no way meets any definition of "fast" Isnt't the 0-60 time for a 2.8 around 8 seconds??

 

Yeah, but his launch in the 2.8 probably made the difference. Maybe it's different where you guys live, but around here one of the prerequisites to owning a Honda product is an inability to launch well or drive worth a damn.

 

rsx type s should have won. he must suck at shifting or something.

 

when it comes down, stock rsx is faster than 2.8 plain and simple. btw i noticed you own a 2.8 yet your SN says 1.84Life. Very strange,i like! 1.8T!!!!!!!

rsx type s runs a 14.8-15.2 stock depending on the driver.

2.8 30v runs a 15.2-15.5 stock..... 0 - 60 time is about 7 seconds flat, not 8 seconds.

everyone tends to forget the 2.8 was supposed to be the "fast model" of the a4, but thanks to tuners the 1.8 has become more popular to mod cuz of the turbo.

 

eh, could of fooled me. Audi should of made it a 3.0 to begin with.
