the links are the same. looks like a clean car, check for previous owners maintenance records. again, 1.8's are better for any modding at all, so if thats the path you wish to pursue, go with the turbo. post the 2nd car again so we can compare.

If I were you, I'd be looking for a quattro 1.8T, and if you're going to be fiddling with it, NO BOSE STEREO. If one of the speakers is blown, you can't replace it without doing everything else, headunit, amp, all of the speakers, etc.

The second one is ridiculously overpriced, especially for a FWD. Even in "excellent" condition, that car is worth 13,300 at the most, and at that mileage, you're looking at a timing belt change very soon, which can be expensive.

thanks for the info...i did not know that one was overpriced. also, why is it so damn hard to find a decent audi in the jersey area. i mean i look on autotrader and in the paper, am i not looking at all my options? i really want one that will be reliable and also that doesnt have 110k miles on it. maybe like 70's tops...errr i need a car i just sold my acura 3.2 tl and i got a bike now!

Hey man im also from NJ. I just bought my car two weeks agao, a 1.8qt. I had tried out alot of the 2.8s they were nice but i deffinatly wanted to chip my car so the 1.8 was clearly a better choice.
As for price Range, 14k you will probably have to go for a car with around 80K+ miles on it. I got mine with 56k for 15,250. What part of jersey are you in? Look around alot of audis for sale around here im sure youll find something u like.

Best of luck
