i jst called Audi NA, they said since the immobilizer has to be made VIN specific to the car, it has to be MADE in germany so it wont be done for another week, then it'll take another week to get here. almost 4 weeks without my car i had just purchased and enoyed for a day!!! i'm[:@]!

 

I hear ya bro! I broke a coil spring the day after I got my Avantand the shock of the spring breaking blew out my rear window (that's my theory anyway). It really tempers your enthusiasm for a car when something goes wrong with it right away. I guess Audis just don't ease you into the repair and maintenance portion of the ownership experience. I have grown to love it anyway, even if that love falls short of trust.

And I had a problem with my rear lock cylinder. Dealer said two weeks to getthe partfrom Germany and $240. Fixed with WD40 and a gentle but firm turn.
