hey im in the process of buying an Audi (96 2.8) and i was wondering if the Audi nav+ navigation system will fit in it? cuzi i kno it fits in the newer models but ive yet to see it in a pre-98

and will the C-navi display the directions in the intrument cluster? cuz i dont see a screen like in the newer audis...

and since im 17 and i "live under my fathers roof" he wont let me buy a standard and i wanna modify the car but how are the tiptronics performance-wise? i kno i read a thread (ha it rhymed!) that said you could buy a tipchip but are those only for the 1.8T and much do they add to the performance?

You can engine chip the tiptroni. Thats what I had - and am getting again.
You can also get a TipChip from awe-tuning.com that enhances (speeds up) the shift times.

You start hitting tiptronic limitations when you try modding above 250hp.
You have a torque converter that will pretty much fry if you push it too hard past that.
