I found a 2000 Audi A-4 1.8Turbo Quattro sedan, automatic, 66,849 miles, silver with black leather interior, power sunroof. AM/FM/CD, heated seats, tilt wheel, cruise control. Power: windows,locks and mirrors.
They have it at $10,750.
Is this a good deal?
Also the timing belt and water pump should probably be replaced soon considering the miles? Do you know how much that would cost?

2000 is a decent year - no major problems with mine.

You have checked Kbb.com no? Thats not too bad a price. TB will cost you anywhere from $500 to $1000 - depends where you have it done.

 

Seems like a descent deal, you should be able to get a little bit under $10k.

kbb.com says its worth about $11k.

Pull up NADA and see if they will drop it down to the price stated there. Or if they are gonna make you pay that much have them do the timing belt.

 

Ehhh i would wait try and go for a stick and the 2001 has more HP. But if you plan on modding that wont really matter.

 

paid 10k out the door 1yr ago for mine @ 80kmi. from what i gathered, other than the maf, no recalls. most my troubles were there when i bought it, or the result of power modifications. love mine. sold my mr2spyder cause i enjoy the audi more. love the tip. no more spilling coffee while shifting. timing belt/water pump @ 80kmi, how long will it take you to reach that? me, 6mo. my mother, 2 years. so think on it.

 

Too much $$ for a sliver tiptronic. Hold out for a slightly newer, manual.
