I thought the K03 sport was a myth... the extra power in the 01's is from variable valve timing.

 

no there is a ko3 sport.. i dont remember off hand what they do to the turbo but they flow better.... from what i have read and from personal experience its almost as good as a ko4 some people say if you have a ko3s a ko4 is not worth it.. my friend had a ko3s on his 97 and with has dalbhack (cant spell nor do i care to look it up) he kept up with my ko4 99.. he blew his ko3 and bought a ko3s held more boost with same mods and it felt considerably different
