Default 2000 Audi A4 1.8t

thinking about buying a 2000 a4 1.8 turbo manual for $9000 and it has 100K miles on it...
will this car be able to reliably go to 150-200k miles??
is this worth buying or is it too expensive??
your thoughts

Welcome tby100, that price isnt too bad. I know around here cars are more expensive but if you ask the other guys they may tell you thats high. For example, my 99 1.8t was 12 with 103k on it, but got him down to 10,300.

Welcome to the forums. Hope you like it here. 2000 A4 1.8t's, ahh yes. I've got an Avant. What kind of options does the car have? If the car was well cared for by the previous owner you likely exceed that mileage easily. What kind of maintenance history do you have on it?

the price is good. as long as the car was well taken care of and serviced and oil changed every 3000 miles etc... you should be in good shape. i heard of audis running for 200,000+ miles with the same clutch. its all about how u take care of it.
