I have a 200 Audi A4 1.8T. It has 115k miles on it. it is getting gas but no spark. I changed the plugs and it started right after that and then the next day it did also. I drove it 45 miles to work no problems. When I was done for the day it didn't start again. I turned it over and then let it sit 20 min and it started. I then went to a store on the way home and came out 15 min later and it started again no problem So I figured it was fixed. I went home and parked it, around 1 hour later I went out to move it into the driveway and it was dead again. Then i turned it over for a while and it finally started, affter turning over on and off for 25 min. I don't want to drain the battery so it has been in my driveway ever since. I changed the coils thinking it could have been them b/c it is getting gas just no spark. I keep trying to start it and it turns over and i can smell the gas just nothing else. Any sugestions for help?

I'm having the same problem with my 98 a4 1.8t. Hot starts are okay but cold starts more than one hour after running it won't start. I've tried a ton of stuff. fuel filters, spark plugs, valve cover seals, compression ratios, sensors and still nothing.
