Default 2000 Audi A4

Helo, My timing belt took a dump on my audi a4 1.8t. Mechanic says $3000 for a head repair or $4500 for a junk yard motor...The thing is, I owe $7000.00 still so..cant decide to repair or take a loss.. id there a market for this car as is? parts wise? It's beautiful, Orange, leather..nice car..just bad head now from the timing belt breaking...94,000 on the clock..

you should try finding a used one... like Shokan is a good way to save some cash... i bet you can get one for very cheap.

look around in the classifieds for someone parting out their car. i have seen a couple that listed their 1.8t engine for sale for like $1500. if you have any mechanic friends that can help you with a motor swap then that will be the cheapest way to go

im interested as well as to what the better option is here.. without parting the car out, just a straight sale, what is a fair price? My cousin just had here belt go and does not want to put more money into it
