i bought this car and the engine was bad i replaced it and then i started it back up and everything was fine but when i went to press the gas pedal the rmps would just go up to 2000 thats and i had an engine code p1559 p1558 p1545 all pointing to change the throttle body so i went out and bought .1 changed it same thing so went to program it and when they tried to program the engine codes would erase but pop right back up after being erased so i went out and got like 5 of them by the way this is an electronic one. same thing nothing so i was told to get and engine computer and nothing changed there and it idles bad like jumps below 1000 and above 1000. took it to the mechanics they cant find the problem i don't know what to do but i don't want to take it to the stealer-ship i need some help please. engine works fine i have the engine light on and the epc and when they try to program with a vag com the far right box says error. checked the wiring all fine everything works but it just wont adjust i have a 2000 Audi a4 quattro 1.8L turbo the engine code is atw wont go past 15 miles per hour

 

oh thanks for all your help u guys were amazing u helped me out soo much not. i gotta be honest this is the worst forum ever. yahoo answers even gave me more wow. but got the car fixed. took it to the the dealer and he told me the that the problem was in the throttle body that who tried to program it didnt have the special tool well now he programed it and and it all works fine although he did charge me $217 to tell me that but he also told me every single thing that was wrong or broken in the car so now i can fix it and have a great car.
