Default 2001 2.8 quattro

Recently had an issue with my battery draining. Took it to get tested was bad battery. So now i have a brand new battery. I havent drove it no longer then 30 minutes and battery level slowly goes down. Thought it might be my alternator but my car turns on fine and will sit while its on but when i put windows down turn on radio or even drive battery seems to get lower then 12 - 16 volts. Its always between 8 -12 volts and then battery icon will start beeping. I need help With this so i can get it situated.

Have you had the alternator tested? I would start there as that is what is sounds like to me.

I'm in the middle of trying. It starts fine just drains in like 15 minutes with the car started no driving. No one wants to rassle with an Audi. Specially in this weather. But I hope its just the alternator. Thanks for reply!

Yeah, what you describe really sounds like the altenator is dead. These cars require a lot of juice just to start and run so a battery would drain pretty quickly.
