I am in the market to buy an audi
I found a 2001 A4 Quattro 1.8t with 60k
the guy wants $9500 obo.
There are two problems though....
1.Both back windows don't work. A pulley in the window motor is broken (same part in both windows) 2. Something around the tire sometimes makes a clicking noise when turning.
How much would it cost to fix the windows? Whatcould the other problem be?

 

window regulators are $110 each, it took my friend and I 4 hours to figure out and fix that one window. once u figure it out it is easy though. the car has really good miles on it but you might want to try and get 9 for it.

 

yeah those plastic pulleys are pieces of crap. its definitely a DIY job.

as for the clicking noise it is most likely your cv joints, a common problems on audi's

 

9,000 seems like a decent price..... mileage is good.
