Hi-- I don't know why the trunk release does not work on my 3 buttonkey fob. Cananyone tell me how to program this part? I can unlock and lock the 1.8T Sedan I have with the fob, but the trunk release is no go.

Can anyone tell me how to program thekey fobto get the trunk release to work on my 2001 Audi A4 1.8T Sedan?

ya dude no remote trunk on our '01's.... the remote trunk is your key.... press unlock than open the trunk, pretty dam easy.

 

Is there any way to make the trunk open without putting 30 lbs of pressure to lift it on my '01 A4?

Go to the gym Nah in all seriousness it shouldn't be causing that big of a strain... Check it out to see if there may be an issue with the parts that open the trunk
