Found out that mine hasn't been replaced yet. Called CommonWealth Audi and although they offer loaner cars, they don't offer to certified pre-owned. That sorta sucks. lol. In the packet I got from Audi USA or Audi america (whichever one it is) It said free loaner cars at participating dealerships. Will that mean thatlike ONE dealership in america will offer a free loaner? lol im sad now. I leave saturday for Washington and was hoping to get this repaired before I left. I work monday- Friday 8-5 and having a hard time scheduling it in.

Ah the JL recall, i love that one. Its made me a **** load of money!
Takes about 15 minutes to change the pump and i get paid 1.5 hours, so sweet.
The recall has been out for 2 years now i believe, hard to imagine you guys are just now getting the recall notice.

yeah they are telling me it takes between 2.5 to 3 hours. He said they have to drain the fuel, blah blah blah switch the pump, refuel the car and so on. err! Well if my car breaks down on the side of the road because of this, Audi is gonna be paying for it regardless.

2.5 hours my ***, even a horrible newbie mechanic can do it in about an hour. You won't have to worry about the pump going out on you after its replaced. Most cars come in with broken fuel pumps before the recall was performed, never after.

When I took my car in for service, John Garcia told me that this recall just came out not too long ago. I knew about it for 2 months now.

John Garcia can't even find whats covered under CPO warranty or not in the computer! He's a super nice guy, but he's a retard when it comes to correct info. Ive been doing that recall since 05.
