Default 2003 A4 1.8t quatro

Hi, I am thinking of getting an 03 a4 1.8t manual tranny with 30k miles.
I never owned an audi before... so
Basiclly I am trying to find out if there's any problems
How long usually the transmission last?
any engine problems?

Alright some one please fill me in

1. As long as physically possible un til it breaks
2. Not many oil sloudging but I think thats pre 2002 models or b5 models

basically treat the car well do regular maintenance and it will treat you well

audi's are great fun cars as long as you take care of the maintance and treat it good like liquidxit2 said, but when there is a problem it will cost alot more than a honda or toyota to fix, sometimes it's cheap but not often, you still have the factory warranty on it, and if your worried you can allways get an extended warranty, the engine and tranny should last you a long time.

That price is high for me, but sounds like a listing price from a stealership. There is a ton of them on eBay motors, I use that for price comparisons all the time.

Seems a little high. I just picked up an 01 with 40K miles for $14K.

I got the same exact car 2003 A4, 5 Spd. for 16,000
(granted I don't have leather seats nor a sunroof)
but still, it's 5000 dollars less...try to bring the price down
