2004 1.8T DV or BOV
I have been reading as many posts as I can on the DV vs. the BOV topic. I have read that installing a BOV on my year of Audi will cause it to run rich only for a couple of days and then the computer will adjust for the change. I wanted to see if there is anyone that has done this and to hear their results. If this is something that will not cause problems to my car which BOV do you suggest. I have read a bunch of people talking about the Forge 004. Is this a DV or a BOV? If anyone has gone through this process I would be grateful to hear your thoughts.
Thanks

RE: 2004 1.8T DV or BOV
your car has a map sensor so if you run a forge 004 which will vent to atmosphere comonly known as a bov it iwll run rich for a few days tell the ecu corrects it and you will be fine. this will make the psss noise louder than if you recirculated it or ran a dv. either way your car will be fine after a few days. so in shortt if you want to hear the noise get a bov if not get a dv
