I have a 2004 A4.

I don't smoke, so I throw my change into the ashtray in the front. A while back, a coin slipped through the small area and into the part where the lid opens up into.

I've gone into the dealership 2 times now and asked them to remove it, as it's still under warranty. It's not such a big deal, but every few days, the lid doesn't open up all the way, but if I tap it, I hear the coin (I think it'sa penny) move around, and then it opens up the rest of the way.

So... how do I remove the lid (obviously without breaking any parts or damaging anything) to remove the coin?

 

with a hammer, oh you said with out breaking it sorry. i think the only way would to take apart the console and you don't want to do that, i would take it back to the dealer and don't tell them you dropped change in there just tell them that it won't open some times.
