Default 2004 A4 performance suspension

I just bought a used 2004 A4 quattro 1.8T, and want to tighten up the suspension without making it too hard on the potholes of upstate NY. Any experience sith Eibach or H/R kits? I am not going to the track and have to get through snow in the winter. In the past I had a 90s and used H/R springs which were very hard riding but handled great. Any way to compromise? I was thinking of lowering just 1-1.5 inches and do not want a system to adjust all the time as I don't have a lift and it may get into too much alignment work or labor. Looking for an all season way to tighten things up....any comments on sway bars? Front or rear? Thanks for whatever experience you can share....Mike

i like my stasis streetsports slightly harsher than stock but im on the low low... you can set any height u want... some people raise and lower for the seasons but u will need alignments each time....
