Well guys........I'm new here. Yesterday I bought my first ever Audi and I'm loving it. Drives BETTER than a BMW, looks way nice on the outside, and it has a TURBO.I always wanted one of those. Well sorry to gush......I'm done now.

One problem with the car though,the6-DiscCD changer won't load any CDs when I press the load button it says wait and then I wait and wait and wait and wait and nothing happens. I'm going to have a new one installed hopefully sometime this week. It still has warranty on it so it's covered 100% but I just wanted to know if anyone else has noted this problem with there A4?Imostly listen toCDs so this is a bit of an annoyance. Lucky me that it'll be fixed soon. I do have sirius sattelite radio installed on the A4 so I am going to look intogetting a monthly subscription for that as well.If anyone on here has the Sirius Satteliteradio let me know how ya like it.

 

I have serious unfortunity i dont have a radio with sat feature i need the car player, its pretty nice i dont listen to radio any more unless i dont get any signal, But thats rare. good for you getting wararnty on that nothing is cheap on the audi.

 

No kidding.........are all the parts on an Audi imported? Maybe that's a stupid question but I know some BMWs are manufactured here so I figured who knows maybe some Audi's are too. I've always wanted a sporty European luxury car but I never thought I could afford one so I didn't ever think to research them or anything. Now that I do have an Audi I have been researching like crazy but I've only been researching today and you can't cram a legacy into a day's worth of learning. So I'm still new to the brand and don't know a lot about them.

 

Somehwere on your car there should be a sticker or metal plate that sais how much of the car is from germany.

Its a very high percentage, i dont know wthe exact number. But yes they are made in germany

 

Well that's AWESOME. Imports always hold there value, but, the downside is you pay out the butt if the car isn't under warranty and something goes wrong. My car is certified though so I have a 100,000 mile audi warranty with a 50 dollar deductible per incident.

 

Thats good. I just ran out of my certified about 4k miles ago. Luckaly i work at the dealer so i dont suffer too much.

I have a cd-changer as well and it works like a charm.. The car is an 01.5 so its been on the car for 6-7 years.

 

Yea lucky you for working at the dealership. I'm glad to hear your CD player's been working fine for the past 5.5 years. Guess it was just a fluke. They said it may have over heated the other day when they left the sun roof open, but, I dunno.

 

Is your cd changer in the glove box? Mine is in the trunk next to the brake light assembly by the tools.

 

Good question and I have no idea. Does the CD hanger have a magazine or whatever that think is called that you can take out? My friend's BMW does but I didn't know if the Audi does or not.

 

Mine does. Im not too sure about yours. It might load into the car. But i doubt it. I think its a magazine that you takeout/load.

Check the glovebox. And the trunk.
