Maybe mine doesn't come out then though cause the audi service department said my whole CD player needed to be replaced. Sounds like it's a magazine problem to me though (if I have a magazine)and they didn't even mention that as a possibility.

Dude I don't even have an owner's manual. I didn't even know there was a difference. Gosh do I have LOTS of questions about my car for the dealer now. Well that's where I'm headed now.......I'll check back a little later.

Yes of course it is but I just wondered if anyone else had this problem and if it's a problem that happens often cause the new CD player they're putting in for me in a couple of days is 2,000.00 dollars.

 

On the b6 and b7 the cd changer is built into the unit itself. If your car isa 2002-2005 you have a b6, if its a 2005.5+ you have a b7.

 

Alrighty then thanks for that info that I've been wondering about all last night and this morning. Now I can at least find out. I'm gonna go out and get my car fax and look over when it was built.

2005. Well Germany, Hungary they're still imported and they're still not cheap. lol.

 

anywho, WHO CARES they are fixing it and youre only paying 50$ for the audi assured.
