Hi All,

I have just bought a 2008 A4 Cabriolet 1.8T .. and having trouble with the roof.

When i operate the button to lower the roof, i hear the motor kick in, the roof unlocks and windows go down, then the roof lifts off the windscreen a few inches then it all stops. it will close and lock from there if i try.
I also tried a replacement motor and i was told it would probably be this, so i stripped out the boot swapped motors over and i get the exact same thing happen again.

are there any switches or sensors it could be?? any idea's welcome.
