Ok, so i'm going to get a K&N air filter for my A4 but on the K&N site it only offers them for 2003-2006 and 2001 and under... did they just skip over the 2002? I wouldn't imagine it would be any different from the 03-06 because it's the same 3.0 engine but maybe it's possible that they setup the '02 intake differently? What do you all think...

 

not sure why its not offered but oiled air filters have a tendency to screw up youre MAF.

 

ya anything will oil will intime mess up the maf. and then audi wont replace it under warrenty

 

Ok, so do all K&N filters come oiled when you buy them or are you talking about at 40-50k miles when you oil them to clean them?

 

They all come oiled. The filter should be the same for 02.

 

i have an 03 3.0 quattro, its exactly the same engine and everything is the same. They just missed the 02, but its all the same and gonna fit with no problems.
