hey guys i need help with the vaccum line part of my seafoam treatment, as this is m first time doing it to any vehicle let alone this one i was wondering if there is any diagrams or anything besides that of the 1.8t that i can only seem to find... any information including pics or diagrams would be awesome... thanks guys

 

hmmmm sea foam is like slick50 ( so im told )used for cleaning the fuel system and can be used for oil/engine treatment, we cant get that stuff over here

 

there should be a setup very similar to this pic from my 2.8 it's right behind the intake mani. between the mani and the firewall. the arrow points to the direction of airflow and the circle is the thing you feed the seafoam into.

 

hmm... alright, when i looked up the 1.8 it had 3.16ths vaccum lines runnin from the front and rear of the intake i do beleive, and the split off with a T connector which went into the bottle of sea foam... so with the 3.0 i only need to put in in through one side or?

 

you just need to find a vacuum connection going INTO your intake manifold. with the 1.8 you can use either or both of the lines on the front and back of the intake mani.
