Yeah this exact thread 3.0 vs. 1.8T has been covered many times... not as often as the 2.8 vs 1.8T thread, but still. It's alright though, sometimes the search feature is frustrating, I suppose. I used to own GM muscle as well... I've had a vette, a trans am, and just sold a super rare 4th gen 1le z28. The F-bodies are not something I'd ever touch again with a 10 foot pole, after having owned the audi... but I've still got a soft spot for vettes.

There's a thread by RedGoat I think that has mods for the 3.0 V6. I have one...and there's very little I can do. No one makes an intake for me. From what Matrix said in Portland there's no intake, no tip chip, and the Milltek exhaust for the S4 WILL fit. But I'm most likely going w/ custom exhaust w/ Magnaflow Mufflers. They were awesome on my Honda.

And Headshok....yes it's been covered a bazillion times but he said he looked for info. Maybe not hard enough. But were you surprised what the question was when it's entitled 3.0 vs 1.8T?? If it's annoying, don't read it. Sorry if I sound condescending because I truely don't mean to be but I only read it and post if I can bring some insight.

And sorry..I was typing/posting when you posted this so I didn't get to read. You and I both know the search feature IS frustrating and sometimes there's new info. too, so reading all these old threads may not be as accurate and current, maybe?

No it's quite alright... I was aware when I posted the original thread that I was being a bit of a dick. And yes, the search feature IS annoying... I've got the advantage of spending enough time here to know what sort of things are likely to produce results after searching, and I've got a pretty good idea of when things haven't been covered. This is one of those things that has been covered a lot, but I would not be surprised if searching came up with a lot of threads that didn't pertain to what he was looking for.
