Just wanted to know what kind of mpg people are getting wtih 380cc injectors? im getting some siemens 380 and wanted to see what the effects are gonna be once i get REVO stage 2

 

I lost maybe 1 or 2 mpg. Was getting about 24/25 and now i'm getting about 23/24.

However, the more you 'get on it', the more you'll lose. For example, driving hard for 1/2 hour before the new injectors, i was getting maybe 18, now it's more like 14/15.

I guess what I'm saying is for regular driving, you won't lose a whole lot. Hard driving, you will.

 

How does it feel wtih teh 380cc injectors? what is it suppose to be hp/tq wise?

 

It's better, but it's not huge. Although I don't have a new exhaust, HFC or FMIC. Since you already have an exhaust, I'm sure you'll notice more than i did.

But it's definitely got more guts, especially out on the freeway.

 

yeah because when i get the revo stage2 im going to get a test pipe and injectors put in...so going from "stock" i hope to feel hell of a difference

 

You'll definitely feel a difference. The bad thing is, not long after you get it doneyou will want more power!

 

An injectors size is simply the amount of cc's it can dump into the combustion chamber at WOT. If you are babying the car and not going full throttle everywhere you go your not going to notice a huge mpg difference from stock.

 

wit the large injectors ur MPG readings are screwed up now sometimes the ECU will tell u ur getting 1000 miles on a tank

 

I haven't had that problem. Granted, my mpg reads about 2 mpg too high, but it's still consistent. And the miles remaining indicator is similar. (I adjusted the reading with vag-com, but couldn't quite adjust it enough).

I just always know that whatever my avg. mpg indicator says, i subtract 2 from that. And subtract about 30 miles from the remaining miles indicator.
