Default Just istalled genesis 380cc and cel came on

Just like the title says, I installed a set of genesis 380cc and my cel came on. I am running the stock ecu but i installed them trying to get my ecu flashed tomorrow at waterfest. WOuld the stock programing on the ecu make my cel light come on with these injector?

I'm sure someone with more expertise will chime in later, but my initial impression is that it makes sense that it would throw a CEL. With those bigger injectors, if the ECU doesn't know they're bigger, it would probably pulse them the same as the stock ones, which likely means you're running rich, and I'd bet that if you read the codes, that's what it comes up with (or something that could be caused by running rich). I would guess that as soon as you get your ECU flashed to a program that knows about the bigger injectors, you'll be good to go.

Thanks. That's what I thought but I was a little concerned. The car runs exactly the same. No misfire or anything, just the cel light.

CEL came on because the ECU is trying to pull back too much fueling for the larger injectors. This can be seen on the fuel trim block 032.
