So I have been having this on and off problem for a couple of weeks now and I had a boost gauge sitting around so I hooked it up and everything was peachy boostin' at about 10psi then I left it in the glove box not hooked up for next time I noticed the low boost noticed it today and it was at 4psi. I am sure soon I will get a CEL as that is what has followed in the past. I have not had time to get the code checked I am sure it would help (duh). Has any one had a similar problem? Also I just notice today that when I lock my car it does not honk nor light up but, when I lock it lights up bizarre right : well if any one can help I would be grateful.

 

When you lock it, it doesnt honk or light up, but when you lock it it lights up? Im confused......

Sounds like a boost leak. get the codes, and well try to help you find it.

 

I figured outht he honk thing
if the hood is not fully latched it will not honk or light up but it will lock well at least in this case
after a lil searching i found out that 4-5 psi is limp mode so it could be just about any thing
