60K service on 03 A4 1.8T
Ok, so I'm just now to the point where I'll have to pay someone (or diy) to service my A4. I booked an appointment to take it in to the shop thinking max it'll be around $200-300, but now I've seen posts where they talk about a price anywhere from $400 to a couple thousand. Obviously I'm not going to drop it off without getting a price quote, but if it's going to be more than $400 I'd like tosave myself the trouble of having to go to the dealer to tell them to F off.
Anyone had either 60K or related service done recently that can give me some kind of estimate?
Thanks in advance...

Really? because I looked this up, as well as the service manual and it says the TB isn't scheduled until 105k

Correct you always want to change the TB and WP tensioners, pulleys etc when doing this. The best way is to go to like ECS Tuning and buy the kit, its very cheap and it will save you the hastle of looking around for all the little bits and pieces.
Hope that helps!

I just had my 60k done at audi, same exact car / engine / year as you. $348 out the door. Didn't do the timing belt or water pump... but that'll be done soon. There were no other issues found with my vehicle, so it was just the items listed on that link you posted.
